Ondo CAN Mourns TB Joshua, says his death Huge Loss to all
The Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN has described the death of Prophet T. B. Joshua as sad and a huge loss to Ondo State and the body of Christ.
This was contained in a condolence message issued in Akure Tuesday, by the Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Ondo State Chapter, Rev’d Dr. John Oladapo.
Oladapo said “The loss is huge and colossal, judging from his special ministry which centred on miracles, healing and philanthropy.”
Rev’d Oladapo said that the impact made that the late founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, SCOAN, which endeared him to his numerous church members at home and in the diaspora, would be very difficult to erase from the hearts of the people.
The CAN Chairman noted that the late televangelist and great philanthropist of high repute was also good to people in his home town, Arigidi-Akoko and the entire Akokoland where he lifted many families out of poverty in addition to donating handsomely towards restoring public power supply to the whole area after years of general blackout.
Oladapo said “The late Prophet Joshua recognised his calling, stayed true to it by focusing and serving the less privileged throughout his almost six decades of existence on earth”, he concluded.
Rev’d Oladapo who is also the Executive Director, Centre For Blissful Home Initiative, an NGO based in Akure, commiserated with his widow, Evelyn, children and the entire family as well as the government and people of Ondo State.
He prayed that God would grant the bereaved family, the SCOAN family and the body of Christ at large the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
