Ondo Speaker commends Akeredolu for signing Assembly Autonomy into Law

The Speaker, Ondo state House of Assembly, Bamidele Oleyelogun has commended governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu for signing into law,bills for the financial autonomy for the legislature and the judiciary in the state.
Akeredolu, had on Tuesday assented to the bills and signed into law the bill for the establishment of the Ondo State House of Assembly Service Commission.
In an Interview with ROVING REPORTERS, the Speaker appreciated Akeredolu for signing the bills into law.
According to Oleyelogun, the new laws will enhance the principle of separation of powers among the three arms of government as enshrined in the constitution of Nigeria.
He said it would also enhance efficiency,transparency and accountability in the legislative arms of government.
The Speaker said “The signing of this bills into law means that the legislative arms of government will be able to have their funds and distribute same and this will make the House to have adequate financial strength to do or perform their jobs and duty effectively.
As I said in the floor of the house on Tuesday, AKETI should be addressed and called “THE MAN WHO SAW THE FUTURE” let us take a look at all of his programmes and achievements for the past four and half years in the state, starting from AMOTEKUN and many others to mention. Once again,I thanks our Arakunrin for this laudable achievement. ”
He gave an assurance that as the head of the fund management committee for the legislative, there is going to be proper accountability and transparency in every funds of the House.
